Subject says it all.
Can a stock 69 front sway bar fit on a 65 b-body K frame? I know the lower control arms with tabs would have to be installed (or have tabs welded). No doubt the K frame isn't drilled for the mounts but that's an easy fix.

Sure, bolts right on once you finish making the proper modifications.

Thanks. I've already got one on the hot rod but it's a 69 K-frame.

If you are going to have to buy a sway bar,you can use a 70 B-body or one from any E-body. All you gotta do is cut a notch in each side of the k frame, and slide it right thru. Lots cleaner install. I used a 70 Roadrunner sway bar on the k frame in my ex 64 Belvedere wagon by using that method. Worked good.

Aren't there aftermarket sway bar setups available for early B's?

I believe there are setups available. However, if you have an early B and you also have a sway bar you kinda want to use what you've got.

We put a 66 Charger front sway bar on my brother's 62 Dodge. Used the Charger lower control arms, and drilled the (original 62) crossmember for the sway bar bracket bolts, and it bolted in.

The factory pre-66 sway bar clamped to the strut rods, so using the 66-up style bar doesn't look original, but it fits.
