Do you guys set for max positive caster & not worry too much regards camber?...1/4 mile racing.

Been all over this car & it's still wanders down track (68 charger)

I set max caster and 0 camber... on my car(strut) I
have the caster at 10* with 0 camber... check your
toe curve... if it goes toe out at all it will wander
or if its bad enough it will dart back and forth
Also set the front end with the body 1" up to simulate
down track

But with stock suspension you wont see 10* positive caster. 5* would be fine.


Also, Have you replaced the inner lower control arm bushings. They are over looked alot and can cause a considerable amount of steering control travel at the top end if wore. mike

Renewed all front end a few years ago , won't hurt to check again..................seems every time i come back from the track front ride height has dropped an inch or so on the right hand side , these are the 1" torsion bars fitted new not long ago , if this keeps happening there won't be any thread left for adjustment
