Are there any adverse effects to running a breather on one valve cover and not the other? I noticed today that the breather on the passenger side was dripping onto the headers. I cleaned it up and put a screw-on solid cap. There is a K&N breather on the driver's side. Should I put a breather back on,or can I leave the solid cap on? Thanks Guys! RandyB
Only if the one breather cant handle the flow/volume then it will pressurize the crank case

I have had this problem in the past. I ran two breathers to be sure no pressure built up in the crankcase. I cut the top off 2 old heavy tube socks and slipped them over the breathers. Worked great to catch the excess oil and stop any drips. Kinda' poor man's Outer Wear breather covers!

Absolutely! The side of the engine with the breather will be heavier, thus causing the engine to go out of balance and create 6th order harmonics throughout the driveline, resulting in pre-mature wear of the deltoid spurving bearings, which are encapsulated by the differential girdle caps. So, the bottom line is, you need a breather on both valve covers.
LOL... I cant even spell half of those words

Yeah, but you can compensate for that by closing one eye and squeezing your butt cheeks together on the shifts

To a certain extent, but it depends on which eye in relation to the breather location. Squeezed butt cheeks are dependent upon ET. Coupled with the drop in rpm's from the gear change, the combined modial interaction of magneto reluctance and capacitive diractence within the ignition system will cancel the 6th order harmonic oscillation, enabling the spurving bearings to remain in a perpendicular centerline with the driveshaft. Thus, side fumbling of the spurving bearings is effectively eliminated.
