Lost in the 70's
Anybody have a link to the old post about repairing plastic grilles? I tried to find it in the tech archive but no dice.

Thanks!

Here are some pics of how I fixed mine

1) Before, grill cracked, chipped and some fins missing. http://www.muskie-lures.com/73roadrunner/grill.jpg

2) Cut out broken fins using a Dremmel.

3) Made cardboard templates of missing pieces and fins.

4) Fabricated new fins and pieces from Plexiglass.

5) Fixed misc cracks and glued in fabricated pieces with superglue and JB Weld. Some re-inforcement from behind was necessary in a couple spots. It doesn't show.

6) Filed and sanded repaired areas and repainted entire grill.
