I put a northern (affordable aluminum) in my 408 Abody. It works awesome. I never have a problem with heat.

Like my cheap summitt 26" universal, after making brakets looks like it was made for my car.

..Brass dose not disapate heat as well as aluminum.
..Afco is just 1hr away for me.
..If i was going to use a factory one,it would be a BIG one, with a 2001-2007 C class mercedes fan. Search the forum for this fan and you'll see what i mean!!
..My next aluminum rad will probably be a 3 pass.

Why do you need a radiator to keep the engine cool when it looks like that fan can pull the car like an airplane propeller.

I just installed a Champion 26" 3-row core in my race car. Bracket holes didn't line up anywhere and I bypassed the trans cooler in it. But I needed to have my new engine running so I made it fit. I'll know in a week or two if it cools better than my 10(?) year old Griffin. Bypassing the trans cooler should help cooling the engine down between rounds. But I do have a remote cooler and run Amsoil synthetic trans fluid.
