I recently got a '68 B'cuda on a trade deal, turned out to be a POS, but being a man-of-my-word, I took it after the several hundred mile haul he made, which I do appreciate. It needs MUCH sheet metal replacement, BOTH qtr panels, front and rear valances, front header, both bumpers and valances. WHO makes the best replacement parts and best to finish? Thanks, much appreciate...wb

AMD makes front, rear valences and bumpers.

I don't think anyone make the front headers. AMD might have them in the works, check.

The quarters are just quarter skins that have been out for years. I thought just one company made all of them. Not the quality of AMD stuff and not a full quarter.

So it now turns out 'buyer beware' should have been in BOLD lettering...oh and the floors, where can I get a floor pan? I believe I saw somewhere there are floor pans made by the same outfit?!

I think AMD makes floor pans as well as Goodmark. The floorpans fit other A-bodies so there are more applications.

The 67-69 Barracudas can nickel and dime you to death. The cars are not worth that much more than 67-69 Darts. But for Barracuda there are far less used parts and just more parts total to the car in general.

Gotta check out the parts market when you buy one of those.

Yup, any more it's a crap shoot and unfortunately the junky Barracuda's are the only reasonably priced one's left! This is my 4th and more-than-likely, my last albeit quite possibly my best...we'll see?! Glad it's not going to be a restoration as that'd be really spendy!

Hopefully you have some parts leftover from the others.

You have a 69 Mod Top Barrcuda? I get the Sacremento and SF Mopar newsletters.
