Kyle Reasbeck and Ronnie McClelland made the tow off the mountain to Maple Grove for the Geezers at the Grove, the 422 All Stars NSS circuit, and had great results. Ronnie made it to the quarters in his Hemi 66, and Kyle won the event with his 64 wedge Polara. It was his first win, and I told him to savor it...he will remember it always. You always remember the first one vividly.

422 has a great deal, I can't promote it enough. You have to dial with a zero as the last digit, and you own the dial until the race is over. Kyle's BGR built 64 ran between 10.50 and 10.54 all night, absolutely flawless. It weight 3700 lbs, has a fairly mild wedge with Indy heads/Indy crossram and two Thunder Series Edelbrocks. It's an absolutely terrific combination. As per norm, a terrific combo out of the BGR shop.

Kyle is going to be mad at me for promoting this, but I'm his proud dad so that's tough.

On to the Beaver!!!

Congratulations Kyle. Why don't you kids hold a class and show us old timers a few of your tricks. Between you, Matt C, Nick B, AJ, and several other we don't stand a chance.

Thanks guys....yup Kevin I'm usually the bridesmaid, or the bridesmaid's cousin, or more often then not 1st round fodder so it was nice. The only other win I had was in a Beetle rentacar in Sacramento on work travel. Wish you could have been in the finals too!

As for the old timers,I've gotten a whupping by many and i'm sure i will again.

and yea John, when do we get to see the daytona?

I may not remember my first girl friend (been a long time), but I remember my 1st drag racing win in detail.
Congrats, and many more to come!

Thanks, guys...it was waiting to happen for him. He runnerupped in the Hemi SS class at the Pittsburgh Chrysler Classic driving Ronnie's car, and made the semis both days in the red wedge you see. It was just a matter of time. My guess is there will be more.
If he gets mad at me for promoting this...but, I'm really tickled as is his mom, sister, and brother.
Big thanks to BGR, Ronnie & Buddy McClelland of Bud's Auto Sales for everything.

Hey Steve what's that old saying?

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree or something like that. He has a good teacher being around you all his life.

Steve,
Kyle really came alive last year at BSD Flashback Friday...if my bad memory serves me right didnt he go to the semis or maybe even the finals that race?
Great Job Kyle and good momentum going into
York 30/BSD Nostalgia Super Stock Nationals.
Anytime you take out that crew of heavy hitting Fords with Jay Z you did good!!!

Thanks so much for the kind words, folks. I've never been much on self promotion, and Kyle is not real keen on making a big deal of this, but he's been mad at me before. I'm still his dad. I don't know that this makes sense, but I'm more pleased than I would have been had I won it myself.

It's also a good way to promote the 422 All Stars series....if you are a nostalgia guy it's the classiest, best deal going.

It's been a good couple of weeks, that's for sure. Doug, are you guys going to be at BSD? I know that Bob told me that Tim Banning had some sort of a big deal going the same weekend in Canada.
