Had original motor with car but in the car was a W2 headed 416 with maybe a X block! Nicely done car for someones first mopar and first restoration. He even painted it himself. Actually showed before pictures and it was a solid car to start with. Wish more seller would show before pictures with their cars for sale.

Thanks, guess I just never saw one before and was wondering. Autoxcuda, yes this one in question was from Abodiesonly site. GTSDave, wow black with orange interior, that is one wicked ride.  Rick.

  Alan, most folks around here know about my cars. I am sure the word got out years ago LOL. I can't tell you how many times I have had someone tell me they never built 4-Speed Demon's with A/C. Never say Never! -Dave

I don't know why people feel this way, as it seems that 4-speeds and AC mix as long as you don't pass 400 cid.
However, I don't think saying "Never say never" is correct because that implies something that wasn't available but was built, and we know that the 340 4-speed combo was available.

I hate to invoke Galen's name, but he looked at the car and mentioned it in one of his "by the numbers" articles in Mopar Muscle a long time ago...
Several others on the board remember the car as well, it was for sale for quite a while till I coughed up 10K for it.
