Depends ... street or race only.

Here's my thoughts on aluminum pans ...

You're in a strange place and schmuck something and it punctures the pan. If its an aluminum pan you're going to have to find a welder that does tig to fix it. With a steel pan any yokel with a set of torches and some scrap metal could patch it to get you home.

I bought one but didnt use it. Overall it wasnt a bad piece, I had to massage the bolt hoes for better alignment on the block. Was going to use it, but opted for a flat dragster style pan.

I have the small block version on the 408 for the demon, NICE piece, and mine is double layered on the bottom.

I don't care what you make it out of or how many layers ... the immovable object will win every time !!

Not too bad for the money I guess. I had to elongate the four bolt holes on the front and rear of the pan to fit. The drain plug is a metric piece so keep that in mind when ordering a drain plug. Also the baffling is minimal inside.
When you say Milodn pickup, are you referring to an internal or external setup? I have the external setup on mine and it works fine. Not sure aboout the internal but I can't see a problem.

That pan is the best $150 I've ever spent.
I had to elongate some holes to get it to line up but it has a thick billet rail. I used the Superformance gaskets so the oil pan bolts will never come loosen up and it doesn't leak, no RTV or anything. I use a single line external oiling setup.
