ok so im trying to dial in a 440-6 and the center carb has fuel pouring out the plunger. it takes about a minute before it starts to pour out the top. any of you carb guys think it might be a stuck bowl? or if not any experience with this happening and if so what might be the problem.im hesitant to remove carbs before knowing if theres a solution to the problem without removing them... any and all input is very much appreciated. thank you.

sounds like your float is stuck. Tap on it with the big end of a plastic screw driver (not a hammer) and see if that helps. If not, you most like will need to take it off and remove the bowel to see what is going on.

Replace the o ring on the needle seat assembly & put a little rubber friendly lubricant on the n/s threads when installing.

Mechanical or electric fuel pump fed? I've found the electric pumps usually require a slightly lower float setting vs mechanical
