Quick question here...what is the difference between 10" drum spindles and disk brake spindles on a 73 and up A body?
Reason I ask is I bought a kit from scarebird and it does not fit the 73 spindles...upper holes match but lowers do not...I have a 72 with 9" drums...but I want the larger bearings and ball joint.

Both the drum and disc 73-76 A body spindles use the same lower balljoint so if the kit you have doesnt match the lower bj spacing its not for the 73-76 spindles.

I guess what I am asking is the drum brake spindles the same as the disk on 73 up A body...I am not worried about the balljoints....and if they are the same where can I get the necessary components for the disk setup?

They are not the same spindles. Drum and disk are different.

I have a set of spindles/caliper brackets/shields that will work on you car if it's a 73+ car. Came off an F body car.

Might be interested in the scarebird stuff for a car I'm working on.
