3 of the 4 vintage Whitewalls on my '74 Hornet are in great shape. The fourth has bead damage and refuses to hold air. I've thought about the windshield epoxy trick, but as this car will become a Daily Driver, I'd rather not chance it. So, that leaves me with trying to find four new whitewall tires. Yes, I want whitewall. Whitewalls on Magnums on a 6-cylinder car is just plain cool in my books. However: Firestone FR380 - Discontinued Firestone FR440 - Discontinued Uniroyal TigerPaw - No Longer made with Whitewall BFGoodrich Momenta S/E - Discontinued Any other ideas?? I'm really starting to come up empty with makers of whitewall tires. I'd rather not go to Coker or Diamondback as they are REALLY expensive. If I have to make a trip into Washington State for tires, I will!! Size 185/75/14, 195/75/14 or 205/70/14 Help!

I know the Kuhmos are a good tire.We sold a lot of them at work and never had any complaints. My kid has a set on his Buick.Even in our nasty winters they went great.Rocky

I was thinking that Wal-Mart carries some Douglas tires in WW. I hate Wal-Mart, but I was thinking of an option that was not terribly expensive
I hate wal-mart too but when I was looking for some 235/75/15 whitewalls for my Chrysler a couple of months ago, wal-mart was the only game in town. I could get Coopers at a local tire place, but 215's was the biggest they could get.
