John,I did think of that,but the engine only has a few hundred miles on it.Seems strange it would stop when the tranny has fluid in it, but then again I've seen cranks(chevys) move forward and aft by depressing a stiff clutch with a bad thrust. Could you enlighten me a little more as to what is going on with the 727 that would make the sound(s) I described( ie converter moving in and out of the pump housing ect.)
