fowl play OP member F Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 69 W.Va	went from 1 7/8 headers 3 inch collectors to 1 7/8 with 3 1/2 inch collectors on 414 inch smallblock in a dart. ran the best with the 3 inch with no extentions. what is the thought, will i need extentions on the 3 1/2 inch collectors. what is the thoughts on this and the length? thanks

My guess is that you may need the 3 1/2" collector to be a little longer but maybe not.

tubtar master Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 3,082 St. Paul , Mn.	Put on extensions , stripe them with a crayon , run them once and cut them within an inch of where the mark starts to burn.
