I read a old article about a guy who dropped a 396 Chebby in a small Rambler wagon,so the small Mopar should fit.Sounds like a nice car.

Ever since i sold my 69 dart bracket car i have been looking for another car to build to dragrace. Gettin hard to find mopars around here. A friend has this 65 rambler for sale. His wife want to buy a house so it's for sale. Has Zero rust. How will she look with a good SB and 14x32's under it? Anyone got pics of race car ramblers?

A 390 AMC shares the same bore spacing as a 440 mopar. You could easily put a 440 in a 65 Rambler so a small block Mopar should be a lot easier still.

Thats a good one! I think it will make a cool drag car. Hope to get started on it in the fall and try to have it going next year. Been busy trying to finish putting this 392 hemi into a 63 plymouth. Hope to have it done soon.
