Was that this weekend? glad it went well as usual! some day I'll make it to the race! Been busy running around here, getting all my gear packed up and shipped off so it's waiting for me down range when I get there. My orders start Wednesday, I'll be in Pitt for about a week before I fly out.

Thank you for sponsoring the event. The track crew did a great job for the hot weather, track prep was great all weekend. Those guys took a beating standing in the sun all w/e.
I like this event and that track!!!

It was a terrific event, Bob, the best ever. I know I had an absolute blast.
It was Father's Day, and when I was racing Kyle I thought of you, and all you've gone through and how you've been cheated out of the special time. But, it speaks so well of you that instead of bitterness, you went out of your way to make sure everyone else was able to celebrate the day in the manner I know you wished you could have.
Thanks again for everything, my dear friend.

Thanks Steve, comming from you makes it all that much more "special".This all started with a conversation tha Kara Jo and I had.She ask me how I was able to keep my intrest and involvment in racing so intense after I lost Curt.I told her the greatest time in my entire life was when Curt and I traveled and raced together and the great moments when we raced each other.Kara Jo said she had never had a chance to race against her dad and would love to have that oppertunity. That lit the light bulb.As much as I was honored to have raced Curt on many occasions and have those great memories since he has pasted will stay with me forever, why not give others that same feeling, oppertunities, and memories. After all we never know when a families time together will end, though those we love may leave us,the memories will always be there to share with future generations and ease the pain.I think the new "generation race" should be part of all the Classics Events,I know it will be at PRP/CC/Curt Memorial in years to come. Thanks Kara Jo,thanks everyone.

THANKS SO MUCH BOB! This event was great and the Generation race was by far my most favorite moment of the weekend along with Nick's Sportsman win. I was completely overcome with emotion during the Generation race. The families that attend this event came out in astonishing numbers, I had no idea this many families were involved! I would have to say that this years event has certainly met the critera of the "Curt George Memorial Race" with the big family we all have created. PLEASE make the Generation race happen again and again, and I will totally back you on having a Generation race at every CC Event!I can't even explain how much fun WE had! I am so glad we had the opportunity to chat at Columbus and it lit the bulb for this memorable experience. Racing my Dad and Uncle Bruce was something I will remember forever. (I am racing you next Nick!) Thanks again Bob and the Blankenships! I am still smiling... Kara Jo Bowman
