Last time I saw the car it was on a trailer prepped and ready for primer/paint and heard from a friend that it`s primered and gettin ready for an ass whoopin.......

Dom, put a 200 HP plate on it and get a few runs under your belt. If hes taking his time, you should to just to be sure your not beat at the line.

It`s tempting but I`m going to run him motor to motor cos I have little faith in those that are helping him tune and prep the car. If he beats me well then he should, if I beat him well, the beers will be flowing and I`ll never let them live it down.......can`t wait win or lose. Here`s why I`m not worried...........thu. nite at Irwindale a long awaited $80,000 el-camino was gonna come out and lay down some "easy" mid 5`s well, after a mean sounding burn out he went 6.40........I`m NOT worried.

All im saying is bring a gun to a knife fight. Best wishes and I hope(realy I do)that you kick there azz. I remember running an el-camino in Victorville back around 1990. It had "EZ tens" in the back window with a BBC and wall to wall tire under the car.. Beat him with my low 12 sec dart..That was a night to remember ..Phill

Exactamundo............Using nos in this scenario would be like entering the ring w/a weapon......not in the rules and not fair in my opinion since we agreed on n/a. I`m not worried just like your destruction of the el-camino..... Win or lose I will post the video.

Dominick! It took me 5 passes to get my dart to hook with my new combo! Run them off the trailer since there so sure!

So they want to race you with their car, but they are rebuilding the whole car just to beat you?? I wish them luck on that, NOT REALLY, but they're gonna need it anyway. There are alot of mean cars with doh-heads setting them up all wrong. My low budget 451 with .510 lift comp hydraulic cam can easily take care of a couple guys around here that I have no business beating with their big dollar 451 with .620 roller and ported RPM heads, TTI headers, blah blah, and a 454 68 Camaro with a 1071 blower and 32x15's under it. Even if those guys have 150 more hosepowr than you Dom, I have more faith in brains and common sense.

Thank you...............racing is kinda like a bar fight to me and unfortunately, I`ve been in many. The bigger(so called)badder man/car doesn`t always win and "on paper" is just that till the "paper" is a time slip.
