Rick Hauver's Dart (which he bought new.) Rick ran Tech. I also distinctly remember another tech/lane worker's car which was a 66 Hemi Coronet. It was red with silver stripes and slot mags. I want to say the guy's last name was Norris? (I think he was a sheriff) and that car was the coolest thing to me at the time (I was 10) it was always parked in between the snack bar and the anouncers booth .. Anyone remember it or have pictures of it?
Rick still has the car. Never been cut for fenderwell headers! And I think it is an original 440 car. Runs mid-high 9's now..

That was Charlie Norris, he was a State Trooper. Last I heard he was working at Triangle Outdoor world in Frederick.

That's the name! Does he still own it? Do you have any pictures of that car? I remember one time it going down the track and running like 13.30's It was a stock street Hemi as far as my 10 year mind could remember at the time. Diddn't he team up with Charlie Brandenburg?
