We are talking about the 70's here; 110 Instamatic time so the quality is not that great. Gene Barnhart's original aluminum front end Hemi car.

That was a fun day for myself and Bill as the Bee had just returned to street duty for the first time in several years and I would be moving to Florida a couple of months later.
Funny story about the trophy I won that day. There was Street Stick (Manual trans) bracket class that day that Eric Kitchen was running(Eric drove a mean big block 69 chevelle stick car) and 75-80 must have mixed up the trophies as I got the Street Stick winner trophy that day instead of the ETK king of the strip. I was looking for the guy who won the class as I was going to do an exchange of trophies with him but he had already left by the time I won. Oh well I guess I can now say I was the first automatic to win a stick class!
