Are these manifolds strictly for big inch strokers-I want to use this for my street/strip buildup 400/440 have not decided which one yet! Seems most folks want to use the performer rpm!

i dont know whats up with some dudes. i can make a 440 standard stroke with a performer manifold produce a ton of street torque. the kind of engine with PULLS everywhere. it could satisfy 90% of the enthusisasts. the small block 318 to 391 i understand. that way you wouldnt need the 4.10 gears. the stroke would over come the 3.55's.

you dont need a super engine with 11.1:1 compression

M1 has bout the same performance as a Torker. IE: not too spectacular.
Big Inch Motors should IMO use holley 1000cfm+ carbs on a dominator
style manifold flange intake, or T-Rams.

I have an M1 on the 30 over 440 with iron heads in my Satellite..I like it a lot...only running an 800cfm holley....4:10 gear, full interior and exhaust...Pulls real good up top..almost went 120mph just easing the car out at the start...
