In my Demon!!

Ist is before

2nd is after

Notice the width of the tire in the first pix, I had tire rubbing on the fender well when going into some drivewayd, or when messing around.

Much better........I never cared for the tires sticking out past the fenderwell lip plus no more rubbing.

Yep I got a free A body housing, and Got a det of Yukon axles with new green bearings From Mr Brad Harms for $200 bucks. He told me there was a chance I had the wrong posi unit as the Cone style must have shallow splines, and the Yukon axles wont get in deep enough. I have a clutch style, and have PLENTY of spline contact.

The chevy Guys at the shop like the Fat tire look, Ive always hated it.

Thanks guys! Ill get some smoke and rubber as soon as I get some parts. I just found last night from swaping the rearend housings, that my BRAND NEW POS Fast Shaft drive shaft is still .052 out of true at the front yoke. I have less than 50 miles on this shaft, and its going backl again.

What ever happened to quality control. I know Fast shafts are a primarily dirt car oriented shaft company, but just cause mine isnt a Late model, or an A mod doesnt make it any different than any other car. Honestly I was seconds from getting my 350 bucks back, and calling Dennys and ordering up an aluminum shaft for 150 bucks more.

Im getting stirr crazy looking at this thing every day, and not romping on it.

Looks great! How wide is the (new) rearend and what size are the wheels and tires?

Well its a stock nothing special A body housing. Yukon axles, and the wheels are 15x8 with a 4.5 backspacing.

Im looking for a set of MT et drags 15x8 with a 3.5 back spacing. Hard to find. Found a set but 300 bucks and they are drilled. I should buy them but I cant find any matching fronts.

If you go with a shallower back space, the
tires are going to stick out farther.

that I know, but half an inch will work. I have about half inch of tire clearance right now between the springs.

so a little more cant hurt

But your tires will rub the fender then, won't they?
