Challenger 1 Too Many Posts Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 28,312 Cincinnati, Ohio	No shimming, I also run Crane gold rockers on my Eddie heads. The instructions that came with my heads said to run adjustable rockers. I have had my motor togeather now for 5 years with about 6000 miles, runs great.

Badfish67 member B Joined: May 2005 Posts: 84 NC	Call up Harland Sharp and speak to Randy Jr. or Mike on the tech side have them to set you up with their roller rockers that are made special for the small block Eddy heads. They will fit right on with no grinding or shimming. 1967 Barracuda 360ci/727 9.723ET @139.44mph

Wanted to use them but after marking the valve tip blue and turning the motor by hand, the mark was about 2/3 of the way across the valve tip. Shimming up was worse. Is it possible the stands need to be milled down ??? Can I run it that way on the street or will it kill the guides ??? Plan to try again with a new set of crane golds.
