anybody here run one? thought about fabricating one out of some scrap aluminum i have, but for $25, maybe just better to buy the holley unit.

the bigger question is do they actually work? i already have a 1" spacer. thought about putting some insulation on the fuel line also.

I've never tried one, but I don't think they'd be real helpful. If you do try it, I'd place it below your spacer, against the intake. That would make sure it does not actually pull more engine heat into the carb. Make sure what you get is for a Mopar or else you could have clearance problems with your kickdown linkage (if you are running an automatic).

I have the Holley one on my 72 Challenger I think I got it from Jegs it stopped the fuel from boiling in the carb on hot days.

The ThermoQuad, with it's phenolic bowl, is suppossed to cool the fuel by 20%. This is from the Build a B/RB engine from Mopar Performance. A lot of people still swear by the TQ.
