Hi,
Which aftermarket brand of 727 trans is the one to prefer.
I will probably buy a new 727 to my 65 dodge superstock hemi build. Should I go for coan racing, ATI or.... Suggestions.
I will have manual valve body. Thinking of skip the column shift and install a floor shifter instead. I could the easy use a 66 and later 727.

Cheers!

Have you considered a A518 tranny, if you drive on the street?

My first choice would be my cable 727 with the column shift. I have the same trans on the 64 but have some problems with leaking (where the cables attach).
Also I dont know if its a good idea shift a column shifter manual. Easy to shift into the wrong gears maybe.
Probably go with a 66 and later 727 with a vintage touch floor shifter.

Thanks
