finally put the driveline in after several years and the trans mount won't line up. The bolts pointing upward don't line up with the trans holes.I'm sure I'm missing something simple here hopefully can get back to it tomorrow.Car was a running driving car and is being put back together with all the same parts except a new poly mount. 74 duster 340 with 727 Thanks

Have you tried turning the bracket around? Normally you attach the bracket to the trans loosely then line up the bracket in the crossmember and tighten everything down.

Do you have the motor mount ears on the right sides of the engine block ears?

i had the same problem. the center to center on the bolts was way too large. turned out that the mount i bought was boxed wrong at the factory.
