So is valvoline VR1 synthetic or does just have high zinc content?.

they have both a synthetic and a conventional VR1


70 duster full chassis super pro 416 CNC Indybrock heads 727 w/brake

best so far 1.212 60 6.219 in 1/8 at 110.88 9.768 at 137.81 1/4

Yeah I noticed autozone has some valvoline VR1 for $4.29 a qt but must be conventional oil. Thanks

yes that is conventional but until may 31 you get it at half price of 2.15 a qt

Yes it is a great price and I got some the other day. The only thing is that for some reason my local stores only carry 20-50 What weight are most of you guys running.

20-50 is all most stores carry i think...i had oreillys order 10-30 by the case for me. i wasn't impressed with autozone the last time i was there, but might have to go see if they have 10-30 VR1

I ordered VRI 10/W30 from NAPA but I found it on Amazon.com for less money and free shipping.

My local AZ isn't doing the sale. I was told they couldn;t order 10W-30. I went to O' Reilly's and got them to get me a case.
