I think one of the meanest bodystyles and toughest grilles ever made.. Lets see the 2nd generation Chargers making smoke at the rear,and air under their front tires..

I like the 68's rear tail light design and I like the open front grill over the center bar...thast my favs...doesnt mean I dont like the others ,,they are all too cool...

Hello ChargerMD. Could you tell me where you got the 440 door badges? I was going with a Hemi, but now a 512, but have to repace the badges. I have the same car. I always enjoy your posts as I like gauking at your car.lol.

Here are a few of my retired 69 Charger. Just swapped out the M/T tires for a set of 17" magnum 500's. I raced this Charger all over the midwest for 15 years. The one picture also shows my 73 Scamp that I've owned since High School.

Hmmmmmmmmmm.......If your car sees any street time , then I'd like to recommend something in a nice 383 badge.
Sort of a moral obligation.
I have always loved those cars.
Some of my earliest memories of driving ( riding actually ) well north of the speed limit were in a '68.
Then there was the trip with the family to the Black Hills.
1973 or so .......... a Charger passed us doing well over a ton.
The sequential turn signal as he flew back into our lane and disappeared into the evening image has stuck with me forever.
Truly one of the classic body styles of all time.

Here is my,bought it in 1985,sold new in Finland.
It's a 440 R/T but now has a 472 Hemi.Best so far:6.949 @ 101.70 60ft 1.54 on 1/8 mile
