I am putting HP manifolds on my 383 to replace the crappy headers that are on it. I do have the all the special collared bolts for the manifolds, so what size exhaust studs do I need? Anyone with a part number?
For the absolute best powder coating go to J.I.T powder coating, contact infomation is in my personal profile..

Yes, you're going to need the special "tube nuts" (as I call them) for HP Manifolds. The studs are just 3/8th inch studs. Coarse thread on one end, fine thread on the other. Use grade 8. Year One has them, but there are other (cheaper) sources. http://www.yearone.com/serverfiles/fbshopmain2.asp?cat=1 Of course the link didn't take you directly to them as I planned. They're under " Mopar A/B/E Bodies » Exhaust » Exhaust Manifold - Hardware - Components " If I remember right you need 2 of one length and one of the other (3 total).
Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol
