I'm working on a 56 Chevy for a customer and need a tail light bezel rechromed since I put a tiny scratch in it while fitting it to the 1/4.

Show chrome a must. Thanks for any suggestions.

$200 ain't bad for a '56 Chevy tail light. They are really tough to do with the ridges and 100% pot metal. I had one done back in the '80s for $200 and it was decent but some of the ridges were melted beyond repair. Should have bought the repo set from Danchuk.

This is a brand new set of complete assembies from Danchuks, but they will easily come apart. I accidentally put a small scratch in one of the bezels. The entire light assembly does not need rechroming, just the outer ring, or bezel. It should be a simple, basic job.

I called Danchucks to see if I could buy just the bezel, but after two weeks and a half dozen phone calls I gave up. The guy I have been talking to says he is waiting on joe blow upstairs for a price, but he NEVER returns my calls and I have given him my number 3 times.

It looks similar to one of these which is why I thought $200 was steep, but this is for a '55.....
