Have a '66 Satellite with original single reservoir master cylinder (power brakes). Is there an easy double reservoir swap for this car? I don't necessarily need to swap to front discs or anything, just looking at the extra safety margin and keep the original look. Car is a 361 automatic with 4 wheel power drum brakes. If there's a link to one that someones already done on the forum I'll take that too. Thanks.

Just get one for a 69 C body with power drums.Thats what we use.To use a dual master you will need a splitter block.I pulled a few from old junk cars with drums. My kids has been on his 62 300 with Power drums for 10 years.Mine on my 65 with manual drums at least 13 years and one on the 66 charger also.Rocky

then unscrew the rear line out of your current splitter, plug the open port in the splitter w an Edelman brand male inverted flare fitting, run a new line from the front M/C port back to the line you undid and connect them w an Edelman brand double female inverted flare brass fitting from your parts house

a master cyl and prop valve from any 67-70 A B C or E body drum brake car will work.
Keep in mind the power boosters usually will not interchange from body line to different body line

It sounds like he has PBs.Just wants to change master to a dual.I just hate making the lines for them.I have my kid do them for me.I forgot to add on the kids 62 we had to adjust the rod a bit.Rocky
