Im using a parts store rebuild from like an early 90s V8 dodge truck. Its the same size as the MP mini-starter, way cheaper, and has been starting my 10:1 340 in the Texas heat reliably for 5 years.

I originally bought a Robb Mc starter, but it wasn't the best for my 16:1 compression combo. Customer service was great and they even recommended another brand that better suited my combo.

I ended up going with the baddest powermaster they make. Both starters are of nice quality, but are expensive. Guess it just depends on your needs.
