The engineering drawing I saw didn't show a clip on the Hemi alternator, but I have picture that shows the clip for some of the other engines. Snoopy master S Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 8,850 Central Coast, Calif.	If the black wire is long enough, I would use the clip . Maybe one of the OE judges will check in and clarify it's use if that is important to you?
