Looking at ordering some shocks for my Charger that will see mostly street duty but will see the strip on occasion. With that in mind, I was thinking that an adjustable shock would be the ticket. I looked at the QA1 offerings and they are probably overkill so I looked at the Comp Engineering CE2620 and CE2730 shocks but on their site it says drag race only. The local speed shop says he has plenty of guys running them on the street with no issues and even if you look at the FAQ's on this shock it mentions street use. Are they just saying not for street use to cover their butt? Is anyone using these on the street and if so, any issues?

Thanks

I have them on my 69 GTX no problems in 13K street miles and hundreds of drag strip passes. In the 1/4 mile same as QA1. on road course QA1 is much better. I have the QA1s on my T/A

Thanks for the information. Plan is to do alot of street driving and the occasional blast down the dragstrip. No plans for road racing but I was hoping for reasonable ride and handling on the street. The QA1's are three times the price of the Comp Engineering and I was trying to justify the difference for my planned use.

Thanks again.
