Soaking wet , was not wet in the winter so I'm ruling out a window leak, third brake light gasket, etc. I know some Dakota's have had an issue with brake lights leaking. I can't find the drain tube to save my last dollar. What am I looking for on the firewall? Any techs heard of this being a problem? Other google findings reveal that the V8 Dakotas have to pull tnhe dash to fix this... yikes.......

If you get under the truck, maybe you can poke around that silver insulation stuff, find the drain and push a wire through it if it's plugged.

The A/C drain tubes are hard too see but its there. There where some that had a problem with the water running back along the end of the drain tube and inside on to the floor. Thats if its not plugged tree debri ect. TSB 23-010-04 has you put RTV sealer around the tube body to firewall. This was right from the TSB...........SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Water may enter the passenger compartment between the HVAC housing and the
bulkhead. A foam seal is used to seal the heater housing to the bulkhead. Condensation
from the A/C evaporator can run along the evaporator drain tube and enter the passenger
compartment if the seal between the HVAC housing and the bulkhead is not sealed
properly. This will result in wet passenger compartment carpet when the air conditioning is
operating.

Thank You! There is an elbow and a 3" extension that was a TSB for the Minivans, a guy on a Dakota forum put that on there as well as siliconed... thanks a lot.

Update: no ac used in 2 days, condensation on the heater/ac plastic box assembly under the glove box. What's this mean?have not run ac in days!!! It is not anti freeze..
