I went to look at a 1965 Chrysler Windsor. 2 door hardtop. Original owner and has all paper work. Not bad shape but needs some body work. Been in storage since 1979.

Vin is 6B59159188 Can't figure out the vin according to white books and internet sites. Was there something different with Canadian vins?

I think it has a 383 2 bll but the casting number on block starts with 19xxxxx engine colour is red.

Could the number have been misread?

C359159188 would decode to C = Chrysler V8
3 = Valiant 200, Belvedere II, Fury III, Dart 270, Coronet 440, Custom 880, New Yorker, LeBaron.
5 = 1965 year
9 = Windsor plant

The 65-66 Windsor was Canada only and equivalent to Newport/New Yorker from what I can find.
