Please share pics of your race car dashes. Iam building mine from aluminium and want some ideas about gauge placing etc.

Gsmopar that looks cool, the diamond plate really looks good. Is it just from the hardware store cut to fit?.

Here's mine in the 70 Challenger. Alu dash / frame etc. with fibreglass dash cap put over it. Still no weight but does look like a real dash.

Not sure if this counts.

Here is a bad picture of mine. It is an alternative to a metal, or aluminum dash. It is a Cavalier fiberglass dash, available from all the chassis shops. We will be pulling it out and giveing it a much needed makeover later this year. Maybe a marblized paint job..

i'm not sure what Bill is doing there...maybe too much

people will often install gauges so the needles are pointing in a certain direction when the conditions are at their normal state. you could install the gauges so all the needles are pointng up when the pressures, temps etc. are where they should be. that way a quick glance can tell you if the numbers are normal because all the needles are vertical.

That I thought also...make sence. But Bill certainly had too many alky inside when he was installing those gauges. Maybe he was celebrateing by having new gauges and had too much beer at installing time LOL
