Hi all.

First off, the 'tranny' in question is a 'transmission'. So no "NSFW" stuff, please!

I'm wondering about mating a '35-8 Chrysler "top shifter" passenger car trans to a '54 331.

Before y'all jump in and tell me how the earlier trans won't hold any power, the 323 it came out from behind was in a heavy car with about 250 lb/ft. of torque.

I'm looking to install it in a light (<2000#) car with about 350 lb/ft. of torque.
