Most are super tight. My chrome one I had to grind a bit.I use a 6 point line wrench socket on a long 3/8 extension to install in the car.Rocky

I squeezed the end of the tube in the jig for holding a tube for flaring. Squeezed it just enough so I could tap it in. This process also put little ridges on it that I would think would help make it stick in the hole. Used a little sealer just to be good.

I usally split the tip with a thin hack saw about 3/8", not all the way. Pinch it together ever so slightly, then tap it in with a small open end wrench.Ive been doing it for over 30 years, never a problem. Use sealer!!!
