Oh Oh I'll guess I'll find out soon

Oh boy, windshield may need to come out. Screws are installed for dash frame. The screws are hidden under the window seal....

umm, yes, they do. There are like 4 +/- srews that are at the front edge lip of the dash frame that are concealed by the windshield seal..
Sorry dude!!
arghh! I'm already screwing up the reassembly LOL>
Maybe rivit from underneath??? I'll have to dig in and get innovative if possible.
Anybody have any ideas or have this happen to them? I got my car as a disassembled project. So I missed this.

Looking good .. Are you going with the black wheels?
Hi Roger, I was going to keep the wheels black with center caps. I might change that cause the lil woman already doesn't like the black wheels.
I have a like new set of magnum 500s in the garage. But they have new redlines on them. I'm not sure how that would look?
Hey, there was an exact match to the vert you were looking at that just went for 58k on one of the televised auctions. 4 speed sublime with white top and gut. I forget if it was RM or Russo and steele auctions.

Looking good Tom. Don't feel bad about the windshield screw thing. I'm sure I'm going to have to redo some stuff as I go also. I put the rear lights in mine yesterday then just this morning realized that I didn't ensure I had a good ground anywhere. I've got to go out today and see if the housings are grounding or not. Car looks great, I think the Magnum's would look good on it. I'm like you about the Redlines though. Not sure how that would look. You could paint your steel wheels EK2 also. Oh, keep the wife happy for sure.

Looks fabulous! I like the black wheels and raised white lettering, even without the caps. Let her pick out a set of cool wheels for show time and keep the steelies for driving (since the credit card is already maxed, what's a little more maxed? By the way, is there a 'rule' for when the sheet metal behind the grill gets blacked out (paint) or left body color? I think for light cars it gets blacked but I don't don't know about orange cars. Man that car looks good...next winter for sure I'll start mine!

Personally I think orange with redlines on magnums would look good. See pic.

Good point, What is the rule? I saved some internet pics awhile back and didn't know what to do. Should I black out the areas like this rr vert?

Looking good;
1) Car should have blackout. I'm not convinced any color other than black DIDN'T get the blackout but it could depend on year and plant. My Lynch Rd. EF8 Dark Green Metallic car had the blackout....this one for sure should have it.
2) sucks about the dash bolts, but do it right and take the window out......trust me.
