Hi,
I've recently replaced the stock torsion bars on my 68 Superbee.
The new ones are the mopar performance 'improved handling' .960 i bought them from Mancini.
I installed the new bars as i had removed the old ones taking care to fit the hexagon in the right place.
Once fitted i set the ride height and drove the car home.
The ride had had dropped by the time i got home so i re-adjusted.
I've done the same twice since and have now run out of adjustment.
I'm aware that the ride height on my car is pretty high. From the wheel centre to the wheel arch is 17inches,however to run the same ride height on my 'old' stock bars i was nowhere near out of adjustment.
The car does feel much stiffer but i'm concerned if the car drops any more i won't be able to adjust any more?
So opinions please gentlmen?

I'll bet when you slid the bars in the adjuster hex had turned up a flat.
Start over backing bolts right out then pull bars out, then tap adjuster arm down so it is all the way down so you get the full adjustment.

You might have to pull the bars back out and 'wind' them a bit.
