6bblgt I Live Here Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 17,517 Las Vegas, NV	I've seen missing digits, misprints (3 instead of B) etc., but this is the first letter I've seen in the last 6 digits of the VIN. What does the title say? Do you have the b'cast sheet? Can you register your Charger? (see below)

(see below) My VIN number on my title matches the VIN on the car perfectly, but that odd "F" out there to the left is a mystery. My VIN # is XP29F8B188208

My 70 GTX (Lynch rd) has the engine call out code 'U' missing completely from the dash VIN, although it appears on the fender tag and door decal. Back when I bought the car (late 80's) I asked Mr. Govier about it and he said he had seen that twice before on a Superbird and a 71 Charger, both Lynch rd cars...

I have an original 68 hemi cuda but the darn thing managed to escape the factory with a 318 and the 318 letter code in the VIN on the title, fender tag, and broadcast sheet If any one finds my numbers matching block let me know I am not causing global warming, I am just trying to hold off a impending Ice Age!
