I need a dash pad for the GTX and for the '71 Demon. I thought I remember people talking about a place that had metal core dash pads for a decent price. Where was that? B/E&A has them for $225 but I thought someone else had them cheaper

To reskin a dash pad to look and last like an original costs money, sorry to say. I have had good success with the thin plastic dash caps. They glue to the dash and can be painted. Several vendors offer them.

I have one of the dash caps on my duster, looks good, you really have to look close to realize it's not a standard dash pad.
