Anonymous OP Unregistered A	hey ya'll, lookin to get alot of rust off the axles i just pulled out of my car. what do you guys use, its all on the shaft anf flange, looks like surface rust but unpleasant. help please.

cheapstreetdustr master Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 6,257 acworth / N. georgia - south e...	believe it or not beet juice..!!!!! it comes in a 5 gal bucket just plop the flanged ends in the bucket over night.. will remove all the rust. put it on the axle shafts thick and wrap with seran wrap..over night. will remove all rust. learned this trick from a neighbor who restores old guns...he soaks all the little parts.. they come out like new. sans some left over pitting.. fwiw. cheapst 365" Iron J heads,,3480lbs best 1.39 60ft on SS springs.10.54,124 mph ...6.67 1/8th et.average 60fts 1.46 w/ small cam &.063 no2 pill tagged & insured [image][/image]
