Is anyone making a new 1970 dart grille? I'm asking for a friend.

As far as I know no one is reproducing the 70-71 Dart/Demon grilles. Yes 71 is the same as 70 just painted a little different.

I know someone who has an NOS 70 grille but if I get ahold of that one it is definitely going on my car without a doubt!!

There was a N.O.S. '71 grille at the Farmington CT. swap meet last weekend, no price on the box, but just had to ask...a cool $1000 or best

Since they don't reproduce them and good clean grilles can go for upwards of $400-500, I suppose that price was right in line. Sure was a nice piece.

If you find a nice one I can restore it for you, this includes properly repairing breaks in the plastic and OE correct paint details etc. Prices will vary as each is quoted based on estimated labor hours involved, so, the cleaner the grille, the less it will cost you to restore. I'll warn you up front though, most grille restorations pass the $500.00 mark, most A-body grilles take a ton of time to properly prep and mask for paint, they are allot of work to get OE correct.

The $1,000.00 NOS grille mentioned above sounds like a good deal if it's mint, the reason is that if you invest several hundred in a nice used grille, then pay for a highly detailed OE type restoration (which can easily exceed what you paid for the grille) you could easily end up spending more than $1,000.00.

A used one is worth howmuch?!? My 71 is looking more and more like a parts car as much as it would kill me and others.
