she will be on the dyno by the end of the week.i would have put on the blower but i dont know if my stand will hold it.she is primed, lashed.the puley is 10% OD again with the bigger carbs from 850's to 2x1250's.probably run C-12 and 30* timing.

Have you ran this combination, boost, fuel and timing, before? The reason I'm asking is the last blower motor(496 C.I Hemi with aluminum Stage V heads, 10:71 blower with two 1050 Dominator blower carbs) I dyno tested didn't like 25 degrees with 12% overdrive that made 12 lbs at 6500 RPM using Union 118 octane race gas. The same motor liked 33 degrees BTDC with 10% underdriven making 7 lbs boost at 7300 RPM on CA pump gas Don't be afraid to sneeck up on the timing, we went to much to start with with the O.D. set up and tried more, 28 degrees, and ran out of dyno time before we could try 23 or less Please let us know what the motor makes and the details, Good Luck

1st off Dave you are correct.thay are the same iron 346 heads.it was just not in the cards. Cab there are a lot of thing effecting what fuel to use.i was running 110 sunoco before without the intercooler at 270* IAT,30* timing.NGK #8 plug,14lbs of boost at 10% OD.
With the intercooler and tap water my IAT was 130* and with the bigger carbs the engine will be happier at that same OD.i went .200 faster with 20% less drive with the bigger carbs so at 10%OD it will make more HP.

Do you run a water resevoir with ice when you race the car? Have you logged AIT's under WOT in high gear at the track? Or the delta temp between staged and traps?
Just curious. I have little to no experence with roots blower setups and would love the info just to compare.
Thanks.

Interesting. Does the system have a heat exchanger in it as well?
Most of the turbo cars I deal with keep the intake temps from 40* at the line up to about 80* through the traps at anywhere from 145-200 mph, when using ice, of course.
Just curious, thanks!!

results and video to come.things went good once she was running with no leals and good oil psi.
That looks a bit lean on O2's were you doing plug reads to verify the O2's ?
As far as cam tech goes there is quite a bit to look at on blown gas compared to blown alky and even blow pump verse's a good fuel like C16 in a higher heat app like a roots.
I do have a real good How to Tune Your Boosted Engine Video that I just released. I cover O2's, fuel flow, BSFC, dyno fuel systems, Timing, graph reading and Plug reading

Good numbers You should be solidly in the 8's now. You should go out for the Thompson 8.90 street class they have advertised on the bullet. Not enough mopars there. How much psi was it making?

looks great Metal Storm!
To the best of my knowledge not only is it the first supercharged running engine using a Koleno block but it's also the first running Koleno block under 4.5 bore(to my knowledge) Thank You again Metal Storm for choosing one of our blocks for your build, if there is anything we can do for you please let us know!

What were the intake temps, how effective is the intercooler? The power numbers seem huge, but I think it's a habit with Koffels dyno.

the intake temps were 130 without water and 90 with water.the water flow was very slow from the garden hose so it will be better with my meziere pump[136S].the dyno #'s are happy by about 15% from my experiance on my 1st dyno runs a couple yrs ago.i am in the 950 range actual i think.i got some bugs worked out and the carbs helped so it was worth it.
