s a 1970 and 71 challenger primary hood latch the same?
I have a nice 70, but I dont know if it will work on a 71 challenger. Any ideas?

71 is different with a bent wire-type pull handle.
The 71 grille gets in the way of 70 hood latch.

Instead of the 70 latch with the wide lever that's spot welded on, it's got a linkage that pull the latch forward to open it.
The pull tab part is cut off in this picture. And it has a 90 deg piece of metal with a plastic guide screwed into the hood to support the pull tab/handle.
