Not sure if it is but the ball joint sockets I have are 3/4" drive. Just a thought.

there seems to be quite a few sizes for sale and the ones listed for the b-bodies don't say what size they are. most of the sockets are 3/4 drive, but they are making some with 1/2 drive now...dunno what i'll need, but i have both drive ratchets and breaker bars

I've got the old A-body socket, which worked on the 74 Challenger I had as well, 3/4 drive, but I have a ha;f inch drive adapter thats always on it. in fact I used it tonight to install new upper joints in the A-arms for my Duster.

yes, that is the one you need. The '72-earlier A body socket in smaller and the C-body/truck socket is bigger

ok sounds good! the only reason i started having doubts is that the fractional and decimal dimensions given for all the different sockets weren't exactly the same
