Its been awhile since I messed with one.
You can`t run just one "green" stlye bearing right?
No way to set endplay, must be in pairs. Right?

i would think 1 on the non adjusted side might work

no endplay adjustment with 2 greens (1-set)
with thrust block or with out thrust block

but why would you run only 1 side??

I replaced the first set after 10yrs,2 yrs on the new set

Cause I have a bad green bearing and have stock ones.

I don't think that I would try it. even if you have the adjuster green bearings are not made to apply or to have preload applied to them and you have to preload the tapered bearings.

I have one car with a dana 60. On the right side is a green axle bearing and on the left side is a conventional bearing with the adjuster on that side. The center section is a PowerLok that has the center part that touches the end of each shaft. Its not the full floating type.
Everything works great and has been working great for several years. I know its weird. Usually the adjuster is on the right side. I got it this way.
But it works great.
