No real tips, it all bolted on with no trouble. Just ran the rubber hoses over the core support, not the prettest but works.
Actually I don't have pictures of it finished, I don't think. I have to look and take some more pictures. I finished the car about three years ago and the AC work excellant.

thanks for pic getting ready to do a shaker conversion,,,what freon did u use? im using oe hoses with metal lines that ill get the fittings (with connections for a/c gauges) put on to make it hook up sanden compressor....looks like suction should be straight and the discharge needs to be a 45 or 90 to go to the drivers side...just wanted to see how others have run a/c hoses and clocked compressor....like the color combo on your 71....

gonna have to find some 45 degree fittings with ports since compressor doesnt have shrader valves on back to put in freon...looks like might even need to bend them cuz suction side is real close to front carb of six pak...anyone have more pics of a/c fittings with sixpak?

heres a link to pic of rear bracket driver....http://bouchillonperformance.com/images/4700_3small.jpg

You can always get the kit to mount it under the alternator.

1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's
1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)

I'll take more photos but won't be until next week, sorry.

I put fill fittings on my condensor and on the compressor. I can attach my hoses either place.

Interesting how each company comes up with their own mounting brackets... ...Anyhow...I used the Classic Auto Air bracket a few years ago and it fit under the shaker nicely...Here's a few trouble spots I ran into...As you're finding out the shaker is alot harder to plumb...Take a look at some of the solutions I came up with... ....Inline ports, and everything on one side instead of strung out across the engine bay...I also fabbed up a guard to make sure nothing contacted the shaker adapter ring...Fits right under there nicely...

I don't think they have one for a smallblock, but I only looked briefly. Good luck!

I'm putting in the Bouchillon set up on my hemi right now. Fits great so far, motor still out. I mounted the dryer to the condensor, and used 3/4" aluminum square stock to shim it out from the condensor. Looks like how they do it on modern/foreign cars, both are in front of the core support, and out of the engine bay. Clean look-
