Hello all.

I'm finally getting around to replacing my top radiator hose on my car. I was running the 440 hose. The Hemi hose seems to be hitting the fuel line harder and kinking moreso than the 440 hose was.
Don't know that it matters, but it's a '70 Charger w/ a 26" radiator.

So could I get some pix of the hose showing how tall it is coming off the thermostat housing and whether yours is in a bind too and how hard it rubs on the fuel line. I thought about taking a bend out of the fuel line but that would change the geometry of everything. Pix would help determine how much & which end I should trim excess hose from.

It's hard to tell with the '70 Charger Registry engine pix.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. It looks like the hose is still touching the fuel line? Also looks like your hose is shorter coming off the thermostat housing than mine. So I'll feel better about shortening it some more.

Nice lookin' bay. Survivor?

hemijimbo, seeing your shorter hose was the confidence I needed. I trimmed mine and have 1/2" easy between the fuel line and hose. No more binding of the hose either.
